THE FLOATING WORLD

Our Mums and Bubs program is a fantastic way for parents to help their babies build confidence in the water. Our instructors teach you how to support your child's water activities, while ensuring that they are safe and secure in the pool.

Frogs

NON SWIMMERS

For children who are new to swimming and need full support in the water. We build trust, independence, and water confidence through fun, safety-focused lessons.

​

What your child is learning:

  • Independent movement with a pool noodle

  • Glide to the wall in superhero position

  • Safety jumps and returns

  • Floating on back and tummy with support

  • Basic breath control (bubble blowing, eyes in)

 

Eels

BEGINNERS

For young swimmers ready to move on from full support. We focus on strong body position and coordinated movements to prepare for formal strokes.

What Your Child Is Learning:

  • Torpedo streamline kick

  • Frontcrawl with 4 big arms and no breathing

  • Backstroke with windmill arms and straight kicks

  • Tummy-to-back safety roll

  • Basic diving through a noodle

  • Retrieving sinking toys (with or without help)

Ducks

CONFIDENT BEGINNERS

For swimmers who can move confidently through the water and are ready to learn breathing techniques and improve coordination across strokes.

What Your Child Is Learning:

  • Frontcrawl: Bubble Arm, Breathing Arm

  • Backstroke with full body coordination

  • Breaststroke kick: “Pizza Froggy Kick”

  • Intro to Breaststroke pull-breathe-kick-glide

  • Streamline push-offs from the wall

  • Safety awareness and playful team practice

 
 

Crayfish

INTERMEDIATE – TECHNIQUE DEVELOPMENT

For swimmers with experience in all four strokes.

Students train across specific distances and refine stroke techniques with focused drills and team-based challenges.

What Your Child Is Learning:

  • Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke: 50m each

  • Butterfly: 25m

  • Stroke-specific drills (starts, turns, and finishes)

  • Build team habits and self-awareness in the pool

  • Improve control, endurance, and transition skills

Angelfish

ADVANCED - TECHNIQUE & PREPARATION FOR SQUAD

For strong swimmers building endurance and precision. Lessons take place in a 50m pool with increased distance targets and competition-style skills.

What Your Child Is Learning:

  • Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke: 100m

  • Butterfly: 50m

  • Legal starts, turns, and finishes in all strokes

  • Underwater dolphin kick, dive starts

  • Improve timing, pacing, and stroke efficiency

 
 

Sharks

SQUAD TRAINING

For advanced swimmers training in a squad format. Sessions are structured with sets, intervals, and stroke refinement, preparing swimmers for competition or personal goals.

What Your Child Is Learning:

  • Race preparation and individual medley work

  • Training drills with pace, timing, and form

  • Goal-setting and performance tracking

  • Team building and competition confidence
